The Shelton Veterans Village was a dream brought to life with the support of Senator Tim Sheldon. We received an allocation in the Washington State Housing Trust Fund to build a tiny house village similar to Quixote Village for homeless veterans living in Mason County . Shelton, Washington is just about 20 miles Northwest of Olympia.
LOCATION: North 13 Street in Shelton, Washington. We LOVE the location. It's on a main bus line, and close to local resources including the college and hospital. DESIGN: We are thrilled to announce the design will be a little different than our villages in Olympia and Orting. There will be 7-four-plexes and 1-duplex (30 homes total). This new site plan will not only help with climate impact, but will help with costs and will provide more personal mini-communities of support for residents. It has been a long process to get everything lined up to get this project going. We are almost done with perfecting the design and will apply for permits in early 2021. We are currently looking for secured operating funding to make sure the village will be sustainable for future years to come. Stay tuned for more updates! We need your help. Donate today to sponsor a veteran and support the Shelton Veterans Village!
