The Tiny House Village That Started a Movement
Everyone deserves safe and affordable housing
What began as a solution for homelessness in Thurston County, Washington, has become a fast-growing regional movement of Tiny House villages. Our vision is to see those in need gain a new footing in their lives through Tiny House communal living: • Case management • Peer mentorship and support • Connections with community services • Communal meals, chores, activities of daily living Guided by the principles of affordability, innovation, and community, we are creating model villages that cost a fraction of typical apartments, leaving a micro footprint of 144 square feet each, and employing energy-efficient innovative design. |

Interested in volunteering?
We are currently looking for community members to donate and cook meals on Wednesday nights. It can be one time only or on a recurring basis. It's a great way to meet residents and get to know the village on a more personal basis. Community members with specific skills and services are most needed. We are looking for folks who are interested in cooking meals with residents and offering life skills classes! Please email Sydney at volunteer@quixotecommunities.org. |
Adopt a Tiny House
We are looking for sponsors to help keep our villages alive and well by adopting a tiny house there! With an annual donation of $1,500, sponsors will receive a beautiful plaque commemorating your contribution to the community, as well as your name/business featured in our newsletter and social media! The funds will help with the maintenance and upkeep of one home for an entire year.
Please Adopt a Tiny Home today in either Olympia, Orting, or Shelton! Contact us at (360) 932-9359 for more information. |
